Since Castle wasn’t on last week, I figured I’d give everybody a heads up that a new episode of Castle comes on tonight! Also, a new episode comes on tomorrow night too for the 2 night special! Can’t wait!

Beckett’s found herself a new king on Castle!

Sources confirm to me exclusively that ex-Battlestar Galactica hunk Michael Trucco is joining the ABC mysteromedy for multiple episodes as a new love interest for Stana Katic’s methodical detective.

Trucco — whose character is described as a charismatic cop in the homicide division — will appear in this season’s final four episodes and could return next fall.

I have just been informed that Stana will be appearing on The Bonnie Hunt Show tomorrow afternoon. Check your local listings to see if you are able to watch it. I’ll try my best to get videos from the show and to make some captures.

Stana Katic has revealed how her latest TV role meant she had to deal with scary reptiles and spiders, not to mention guns.

The Quantum Of Solace actress stars as a detective in hit US show Castle.

And as she attended a special Q and A session at the Paley Centre for Media’s PaleyFest 2010 in Beverly Hills, she revealed some of the crazy scenes she’s been involved in.

“I got to carry a live tarantula and hold a boa constrictor recently,” she laughed.

“I run through subway systems with a gun and shoot at people. It’s been really incredible actually.”

The show follows crime writer Richard Castle (Desperate Housewives’ Nathan Fillion) when he’s called on by Stana’s character, homicide detective Kate Beckett, to help her solve copycat murders based on his novels.

“I think the difference between Castle and a lot of other shows is that Castle is kind of a throwback to those classic romantic comedies,” Stana said.

“There’s a lot of swordplay between the guy and girl character and sexual tension is built upon that.”
